I'm in AP Euro right now...and there's a big test tomorrow on Imperialism and WWI...I haven't read anything...man...all questions are directly from the text too...ay
AP Wise, I will be in AP US, English Language and Psychology next year...ehh. 3 APs is considered "OK" in our school...the most competitive people [aiming for the top schools] are going to be in 5-6 APs next year for junior year...I know people going into AP Calc BC, AP US, AP English Language, AP Spanish Language, AP Chemistry next year...
AP = my life right now. sad. and it sucks that you have to RETAKE the effing classes if you're majoring in that...oioioioi...

I've been having this thought forever and so I'll put it here!
What if I were to make a "Thinspiration" type thread? Not promoting anorexia in any way but it could be a place for Jammers and myself to look to for advice in losing weight, improving their body image if they want to and have complete support by others in there? I think it might help some people who want to lose weight if they had other Jammers backing them for support and giving suggestions!
Well? Which place would be best to put it? Advice Central? Beauty? I think it sounds like a good idea..

^I think that might be a good idea.. like, a thread where people can just share little tips and basics to get healthy, etc. It'll probably help some people, including me :D;
I think it'd go in the Beauty forum if you want to post it, since it's not really asking people to help you personally.

I was seriously considering UCLA but settled for a more local place...lovely farm school Davis. Suprisingly, I've grown to love everything about this small town...the trees, the friendly neighborhoods, the cows...and feel incredibly relieved I didn't go to LA! So before you decide to set your heart entirely on a college just to look good, really think about the kind of place that would be best for your mentality.
And your dad was right -- getting into ANY college (as long as you STRIVE and excel in it) you can get into professional career. Getting As in a local college looks WAY BETTER than doing an "eh" job in Harvard.
You really dont need to take AP classes, I can tell you that. I never took one...and still got accepted into U of Cali anyway. I think what's weighted most heavily is the GPA, SAT scores, and how strong the essay is. Make sure your writing skillz is excellent!! Hell, you dont even NEED to do extracurricular activies as long as you can convince the admission counselors that you accomplished a lot during H.S. haha!

Thanks for the advice. :]
But I was considering about going to UCLA though, or any university in L.A. or San Diego. Actually I just want to go to a university that's near the beach, because I love the beach. x3
I suck at writing though. x_x;;
Well not really...but I just hate writing essays. @_@;;
If I choose to do extracurricular activities, will it automatically show up transcript or something or do I have to tell my counselors to write them down??
freak:O___e;; that's a ton of AP classes...
Yogen Suru: "thinspiration"? I always feel fishy about those...e___e''
I don't need to lose weight. I'm happy with body image I have now. I just need to tone my muslces, lol. xD
...which I've been meaning to do for a loooong time now, but don't know what exercise to take...yoga...pilates...maybe even martial arts...

!@#$!@#$!#$%&%^&!*@#%(&!@%#
OMG OMG OMG I'm going to KILL MY COMPUTER.
I spend the last 5 hours writing a last minute paper due at midnight, and I got caught up writing and didn't save.
Then out of nowhere, the friggen Microsoft word crashes. The program completely shut itself off and everything...GONE. I tried reopening, rebooting, looking up temporary files, autorecovery...nothing.
I just wrote an email to my professor pleading for another day to turn it it. If it's not okay with her, I could fail the class. Either way I have to rewrite the whole thing. F!@# YOU EMACHINES.

Bubble Tea: It would just be a place for advice and support. Maybe some people don't know what exercises they should do, or maybe they are working on toning their body or losing weight, it's basically a place for them to go to to chat and talk about what they want, as well as get support and suggestions. Definately not a place where they'll be judged in any way or told to "stop eating completely". Infact, eating would be encouraged, just.. Less of the bad stuff, more fruits, veges, and all around healthier things.

you should state that in the "new forum categories"- maybe we could have a "Health" category and we could place your suggestion under that?

OMFG! I'm going to Dublin for four weeks this summer!! I'm so super amped! I haven't been since I was in third grade, so it'll be awesome!! I get to see all of my cousins again.. tcheyah!!
March break's almost over, *gloom*.
My mom's an immigrant. People always say that she has an accent, but I can't really hear it? She just sounds Canadian to me. But my friends say that she has an accent. My friend's mom is an immigrant as well, and she has a really thick accent, and my friend kind of has an accent as well, even though she was born here. So now I was thinking if I have an accent cause of my mom as well?
ugh, stereotypes are stupid. But, then again, some people are just stupid. my friends were on Runescape I thinks? and some guy asked them if they lived in igloos and had pet penguins? just cause they're Canadian? I was like, mmkay?.. I mean PENGUINS ARE FROM THE SOUTHPOLE DUMBASS!! But some things in the Candian stereotype are true for some people. I mean, I've noticed that beer drinking hockey nut is reeealy common.
We watched a hockey game in my Math class a while ago :P I can't remeber what league, but I remember it was Candada vs. the US. Canada won.
Sorry, I've just been having a really random day today. Just decided to say my random things that have been on my mind lately (except for the thing about the hockey game, I just thought of that cause my Math teacher is a hockey nut, so it made me remebr when we waatched the game in his class).

I know how you feel. ;____;
That was how it was like with my old Microsoft.
What version of Word do you have?
Because with the current version I have, it can recover lost files whenever the computer crashes or whatever.

i never actually thought about how much "martial arts" stuff there was out there lol. i think a kung fu class would be pretty awesome though

OMG!! My mom brought me and my sister to Bulid-A-Bear today for our easter gifts, and I got a hello kitty bear. Aww, she's so cute. I'll try and take pictures and then post them in her own little thread! I named her Hello Kitty, cause I couldn't think of a better name for her. Then when we got home my sister said I should've named her Mika. Oh well.
My sister got a Mumble bear from Happy feat <3
