So I got updates from the new J-Pop singer Leah Dizon's "relative", and this is what he said:

well, america is a nation of immigrants. so calling your ethnicity "american" could mean anything. so if she american, then what type of american is she? I"m pretty sure her mom would make anything sound exotic to japnese (as most of the foreigners they see are tourists). think about it, she could say british-american, irish-american, etc. and that'd STILL sound exotic. so why lie about it?

My boyfriend just got news today that his green card applications were not finished correctly MEANING he has to redo it.....but the problem is his visa expires in one week......so that means he might have to go back to Japan. I have been crying for a while now just at the thought of him leaving. its breaking me heart.......

Awwww... lets hope that he doesn't have to go back to Japan!!

I can't say I know exactly what this feels like, but my boyfriend is from South Africa, and still doesn't have complete landed immigrancy. If he ever got sent back I don't know what I would do or how I would cope with it.

what other negativity have you recieved? i dont mean that to sound in a bossy or challenging way, but if someone is honestly being rude you can give them bad reputation and report it to cool or another moderator. but to be fair, it is pretty annoying when someone says "i think im leaving the forum" and then not saying the reason.. its kind of like when someone says "i have a secret!" and then wont tell you what it is.

^ Yeah, I agree with the above post... I've always thought of this forum as a super positive place. I rarely see any negativity around here - everyone seems more close-knit and nice here than I usually see at other forums. And I think everyone was thinking the same thing that kawaiiangel was - I mean, saying you're leaving, and you get tons of replies asking why, and then you ask if we "really want to know"... And she didn't even say it in a mean way so it wasn't like she was being super rude or negative. But...whatever...

I can't believe I'm this pathetic - I cried because I was so jealous of one of my best friends. We were on MSN and she said "Which one of these pictures looks older and is generally better?" And she sent me two pictures. The first one was AMAZING and the second one didn't match up to it at all. I replied, "Did you draw that first pic? Because if you did, I'll kill you 'cause it's so amazing!" And she went "Oh, yeah, I did. With lots of hep from my cousin whos been drawing for years."

I dunno why but I just started crying in front of the PC screen. I mean, I've been drawing on and off since I first watched Pokemon (I was about 7 or 6 years old I think? And now I'm 13) and she's only been drawing for a few months maybe a bit more. And she did a brilliant drawing - I don't care if she had lots of help, she still did it. It just made me so jealous. And I haven't cried in years, so it made me feel weak and pathetic. And I thought I was making progress with me learning how to colour in watercolours and all, but now it's pushed me back to square one...
