You know, I find this thread to be a lot more friendly and intelligent than the GD on Gaiaonline.

Does anyone here go on Gaiaonline? You'll know what I'm talking about -- their General Discussion forum has been going downhill ever since around...2006-2007-ish, and it continues to do so. urrgh. It's invaded over by self-centered scene kids and pedophiles. It's become another nasty Myspace/4chan place.

Not only that, but a while ago I stumble across this crazy forum and it's just, well blah. Those people are just...blahh. Ignorance and intelligence do not mix.

It's not as bad as supremacy (yes, there's a difference between nationalism and supremacy), but I don't see anything bad about multiculturalism. I grew up in a multicult place. My dad was in the U.S. Navy and we've been stationed in Japan for 12 years. I went to school where the population is diverse, like about 40% Asians, 10% African American, 30% Caucasian, 10% Mixed race, and 10% Other. I've had friends from all different backgrounds have and talked to people of all different backgrounds, and I see no reason to hate them. I've been to 5 countries -- Philippines (well I was born there anyway, lol), Japan (of course), South Korea, Singapore, and China (Hong Kong only).

I guess I can kind of understand their ideals, because ever since I moved here to the States, the education system was just blahh and the majority of the bad kids were black or Hispanic. I find some of the Hispanics to also be annoying, especially at places where things are sold cheap such as Wal-Mart, Mervyn's, etc. And although I also don't agree with the whole illegal immigration thing, I see no reason to hate. I have some friends that are Hispanic and don't act like the stereotypes.

Nationalism is outdated anyway. The current trend right now is 'Globalism', and we need it all the more so. Nationalism was a concept that helped us deal with religious, ethnic, gender and historical differences. Globalism is the new concept, because soon everybody will have to be thinking of the whole world as global terrorism, global epidemics and global weather patterns require a global response.

^ there are lots of bad black and hispanic kids but there are bad white kids and there are good black and hispanic kids. It annoys me when people base their judgement on a particular individual or group of individuals and decide that everyone like that is the same. I have a 'friend' who hates Polish people because his friend's father was hit and killed by a Polish driver who was drunk. for that you should hate drunk drivers, not Polish people.

Me too i am also tired of boys is cause thay well in my case a re a pain in the ass i mena for example i liked a guy he liked me too but he acted as if he hated me! how could that be possible and when i asked what the hell whats wrong with him he told me "is nothing is cause i want to keep secret what we both feel" i mean what the heck! O.o ???

MissTamora - The bit about that guy hating all Polish people.. There's a guy in my French class who hates the lesson and because he hates the lesson, he thinks everything French is crap and he hates French people. It made me so angry because he doesn't even freakin' know any of them!! We have French exchanges at my school where French kids come over and this stupid retard was like, "We should burn them all with the bunsen burners, haha". God, I felt like punching him o_o

And the worst thing was, people were laughing about it. Ahhhh That same guy was saying that blacks, muslims, asians etc don't deserve to be treated as well as whites. Then he said "I'm joking btw" WHY?! You don't freakin' joke about things like that..

He's supposed to be a smart kid as well but he's so ignorant, always saying the English are the best and stuff like that.. A little patriotism is fine but he takes it wayyy too far. Had to get that off my chest, he's been annoying the hell out of me for agessss x_x
