Default question!

this has absolutly nothing to do with asiajam's services,
but if an item got lost through the mail,
can the reciver of the item go to thier post office and whatnot and bug those people about it?

thanks everyone!

It all depends on who you are buying from. Some places offer insurance or full responsibility on their purchased items, and will return your money/send you another one if it gets lost or stolen during the mailing process. While others...well, if it gets lost, too bad.

My mom is a postal carrier and many times she'll have people coming up to her saying she never delivered her their package when she didnt have it in the first place . From her experiences, I feel that it's wrong to blame the post office and just randomly yell at their service. Every system is flawed and there's not much we can do about that.

I guess the best way to securely get your packages is to pay a lil extra for the insurance, if offered.

oh i see.
but would they be able to do anything about it if i went and told them i'm expecting something i didnt get? because i read somewhere on asiajam that a someone didn't get thier item, checked all the post offices near them and found thier package in some weird out-of-town post office or something. and the stuff i ordered was really cute too >_____<

Hm, they'll probably check around to make sure it's not misplaced, other than that I'm not sure what else they can do. After all, they just deliver the mail.

I still haven't recieved my consolation prize from July. Maybe it got lost?
