I was really used to the old one...this is quite a bit of a change. It's a little difficult to navigate around but I think it'll just take time to adjust. I'm really confused about the display options. I try to adjust it so that it will display the newest posts first, but once I navigate away, it shows the old posts...which is pretty irritating. My avatar photo isn't showing up either, even after I loaded it.

Hello girls! Thanks for mentioning all this. Here are some updates & info! -->

1) Display of Posts - Now, you'll see all the current posts/replies in front and the older ones behind... just like the old forum!


2) Avatars & Signatures - This new forum accepts avatars and signatures.. just that you'll need to re-upload them because we couldn't migrate your avatars from the old forum. We're so sorry for the inconvenience!

Okay here's how you do it:

1. Click 'UserCP' on the top panel. That's your User Control Panel to change your profile, settings etc.
2. Then, click on 'Edit Avatar' or 'Edit Signature' and follow instructions.

<b>EDIT:</b> Your avatars have been recovered! You just need to re-select your avatars.
Click 'UserCP', Edit Avatars, locate and select your avatar from the 'Pre-defined Generic Avatars'. AVAILABLE TILL SATURDAY 13 JANUARY ONLY!

3) Navigation - I know it looks confusing because we are all so used to the old forum but after clicking around, the navigation now is actually so much simpler once you know how to use it! I'm going to tell you about some:

If you want to view profiles, Private Message a member, put a member in your Buddy List, or view all posts by a member, all you have to do is click their username. Try it now - click on my username 'bellytuner' on top ..... See?

You can even click 'Quick Links' on the top navigation to speed up common tasks.

Those are the basics you'll need to get by for now. There's sooo many other new features like photo uploading etc you can explore.

Question though:
Where can you disable smilies? At the bottom where it says Smilies are On, I clicked it and it said that I can disable it in my post like the last layout but I don't see anything about it.. x:

Looks like quite a number of 'confused' forumners!

The forum was switched only 1 day ago, and there were a lot of bugs that was already ironed out, like viewing of posts.

Continue to post your comments and we'll fix probs as they are found. I am confident that once you get used to this board, there's no turning back.

Everytime I try to upload my avatar, it says it failed, or if it works, when I go to see it, it doesn't show up. Can someone explain?

You can edit a post (within 30 minutes) but you can't delete it. Only a moderator can delete a post.

Try it now. The permission was set incorrectly.
