I thought of a brand new idea for a thread. How about everyday someone would post a phrase or word in japanese and what it means in english. And if possible all replies in this post would use the japanese words or phrases we already learn earlier. Anyone care to start?

Here's a word I know:

Yoshinoya = 'Brand of a Japanese fast food'.

Sorry! I really like to eat there and for some weird reasons I can't think of any japanese words right now.

Konnichiwa, Hajimemashite. Watashi ha neahime desu. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu! ^.^

Sumimasen (excuse me, sorry)

Chotto matte kudasai ~ (please, wait!)

Ogenki desuka? (How are you?)

Genki desu! (I'm fine)

Ureshii desu (I'm happy)

Maji de!?? (Really?)

Arigatou = Thank you
Neko = Cat
Doushite? = Why?
Sakura = Cherry blossom

Ringo = Apple

Konnichiwa guys!! You're supposed to start using what you learn here and start 'chatting' with each other in japanese. Initially it could be half japanese and half english, and those that knows how to fill in the blanks can help out. I bet once you start using it, you will learn real fast!!
