AWESOME Japanese dragon/dinosaur creature; WHAT IS IT CALLED??

In japan, my sister took a picture of this guy who was advertising for something (can't remember what, but oh well) AND... He was wearing the most awesome kigurumi!!!
"Me... Must... Have... >: O" I though. SO I e-mailed the pic to my brother in Japan and *yaaay* he remembered that he had seen exact the same costume in a store so he went there and bought it! *wohoo~~ awesome brother*
AND he even showed it to me on video chat, so I know it is exactly the same ^___^ *happy*

SoooOOoo to the point.... WHAT IS THIS DINASAUR/DRAGON CALLED?

My brother told me it is a creature from a japanese kids' TV show...

So I want to watch the show XD
(It would be a bit weird to wear a costume of something I have as good as no clue what is!)

Ah I saw the starting of this show, it looks really funny, he does loads of hard core action sequences to rock music its great.
