i'm korean & whenever my family & i go over to a friend of ours [who are also korean~ =3], we always buy a box of fruit [usually pears] or cake~ =3
same goes w/ vice versa.
as for those 3 questions:
1. i guess this one would depend what his parents like... you should ask the guy what his parents like & stuff~
2. like i said, you could probably do the fruit or cake idea if you're going to do this one~ ;3
3. finally, i'm so not sure about cooking them food... you're the guest, so i don't think that's necessary. & you can maybe help out, but other than that, don't cook for them.
