idk if this is with you guys as well....but all the korean guys I met are either really preppy or really fob-y...or both :/ (not that foby is a bad thing, but it's hard to get to know them since they're really click-ish <-sp?)

ya i know what u mean some of them i know hang around in crowds and dont like to be alone most of them though well so how do u mean preppy tell me details lol and whats fob-y anyways never heard of it

fob stands for Fresh Off the Boat. It refers to foreigners that just arrive to the US and act very foreign. hmmm...idk how to explain it properly. They always talk in their native language to their friends and don't talk to people outside of their little group. We have a whole group of asians at our school that are considered as fobs. You can always see them hanging out in the front of the school after school ends. It's really hard to become friends with them because they're always speaking Chinese or Korean to each other and their English isn't that great. <-----I actually like foby kids, but like I said, they're really had to become friends with if you don't know Chinese/Korean/est.

As for the preppy thing: There are some Korean kids that are rather popular at our school. They used to be fobs when they were in Middle School but since then their english has gotten better and they hang out with the preppy crowd.

do you mean friends that I've gotten to know that are foby? Or something else?

If you do mean that, then yes...but we aren't very close. I'm trying to become better friends with her. Her name's Lina and she's from Taiwan. It's kind of funny though, since we talk about all of her friends/the foby crowd and I know all of their names, but they probably have no clue as to who I am XD I gossip and know about the relationships they have and I haven't even talked to most of them. They're all just friends of a friend XD

Actually, there's this one korean guy in my grade that's part of the foby crowd...he's soooo cute O_O but he cut his hair close to the end of the year and it made him....not as good looking. He still has a very good looking face but with the awesome hair gone he just....doesn't look as hot :/ His name is Hyun and I've talked to him twice (and he was in my class too) XD Once was when i asked him if he was korean or chinese (which was pretty obvious but my friend wanted me to ask) and another time where I told him that Lina told me to tell him that he needed to talk more during class :3 <---he didn't respond to me but I got him to smile which made me happy

Hey, sorry to bother you guys with this, I just wanted to update this little comment. I saw Hyun again in school (he has my A lunch this year ) and he grew his hair out again~!!! He's sooooo pretty~!!!! <3333333 but I have no way to talk to him D: *le sigh* at least I can admire him from afar~! <----(yeah...as if that's not the least bit creepy :P )
