Post some of your favorite Korean dramas here!!!

I haven't seen a lot but the one's I have seen were really good.

I started watching Gisepo Girls (i think thats what its called) and it was weird but funny haha

AH where do I begin? Okay, these are all the ones I've watched... And kind of in order of how much I loved each one.

• Really Really Like You (진짜 진짜 좋아해)
• The Vineyard Man (포도밭 그사나이)
• My Lovely Sam-Soon (내 이름은 김삼순)
• Palace / Goong (궁)
• My Girl (마이걸)
• Coffee Prince (커피프린스 1호점)
• Dal Ja's Spring (달자의 봄)
• I Am Sam (아이엠샘) [ T.O.P <3 ~ I watched this to watch him ]
• Over The Rainbow (오버 더 레인보우) [ didn't end the way I wanted it to =( ]
• Cloud Stairway (구름계단) [ let me just say, this drama was probably my least favorite, but the main guy in this was the MOST attractive guy in ANY of the dramas I think, he is GORGEOUS - just thought you should know that! ]

It was all happy in the beginning.
But the end crushed me.

you don't mean Stairway to Heaven do you? I hope not, XDD That's got to be the best drama I've ever seen. My mom was obsessed with it too. I only made it to episode 3 because it was corrupt in a HORRIBLE spot! T__T Apparently my relatives in Hawaii are all obsessed with Korean drama too! Go figure. XD

Ive only seen one drama and thats Witch Amusement, which i though was really good but the ending was ummm to say the least dissappointing.

Movie wise ive seen My Sassy Girl and 200 Pounds Beauty and thought both films were very good and i love the songs in 200 pound beauty

Ah no don't worry, I'm talking about a completely different drama! I have Stairway To Heaven actually - just haven't watched it yet!! My dad found the whole DVD set in a used DVD store for only $35 when it's originally sold for like $80! He called me and was like "Ummm, should I get this for you...?" Can't wait to watch it, it'll be the first "sad" drama I watch, all the others have been mostly romantic comedies. x)

I'm also going to start Kim Sam Soon soon...ehehe. And I've heard so much good stuff about that, so it's likely to become a favorite of mine afterwards.

Full House comes out on DVD July 24th!! I'm buying it! It's been recommended to me too many times, I must watch it. (:

Of course I love I Really Really Like You..It taught me my korean family memebers and Titles..Like Hymoni,Halmoni,Abojii,Omma,Oppa,Agashii,Unnie and so on.. ^ ^

@Caitlin: okayy, good! XD Yeah, Stairway to Heaven is the saddest drama I've heard. And good thing you have the whole series!! My friend told me that once you make it to episode 7 I think, you'll go crazy if you don't have the rest. He stayed up for 2 days watching it! o_o; Even I got super depressed when I made it to episode 3 and the episode was corrupt, and like, melded into episode 1 T___T

Ahhh I heard about Stairway To Heaven I'm so afraid too watch it..it seems like those love triangles/incurable diseases dramas that make you feel uber depressed...and Halmoni is like mom..just more formal..i guess.. and I learned teh three bears song from Full House too and one time on Kim Sam Soon I always thought it was Egi gom but i looked at the Hangul and its like AH-gi...I think it was just her dialect/accent..I did 2bears in english class but it was like REMIX..with like dancing 0.o..uhm.yeeahh

Ok..well I've actually only seen a couple...and the recent-ist one was Princess Hours! AKA Goong..I quite liked it, though it is different to the mangas...ANDDD the other one isnt actually a drama..I mean, its quite drama-ish in a way..anywho! Its called Yoja Yoja (in english is girl girl) and its REALLY funny

Do you mean halmoni and harabochi? Hymoni isn't a family member, lol... ajusshi and ajumma are for people aren't in the family, they're for older [married] ppl to be polite.

Omeoni you should say to your mama~ it's more polite than omma. Just like how you should say abeochi to your dad instead of abba.

Oppa & unyi are for not only for older brother & older sister, but are also used in retrospect with ppl who aren't ajusshi and ajumma age, but are still older than you.

I like Legend of Yi Shoon Shin.

I love historical dramaz.
My mom watches at least 10 episodes of some kind of Korean drama a day. She rents all these DVDs [around 30 or so] from the local Korean store... ~_~

i always thought ajusshi was like Mr. and ajumma was like older woman..and agasshi was like Miss..see this is what happens when you learn korean from watching too many dramas..eh..as long as I pronuce it right ^ ^

I think what you're thinking of is the -ssi... if you say Kang-ssi that means you give more respect to the person who you're talking to.

Some ppl do get offended by ajumma/ajusshi... lol... I try calling my friend ajusshi and he gets mad, LOL. Oppa and unyi sounds so young. :P There's no real equivalent words in English to exactly translate ajumma and ajusshi.
