How did YOU get into Korean stuff ... hmm?? ^^

I accidentally downloaded the Korean movie "100 days with mister arrogant" from the local intranet. At first I laughed a lot about the language (it sounded very strange to me) and about the way the actors acted but suddenly I started to enjoy the movie, especially the ending- Korean movies have great endings (probably the best ones). Then I looked up for more... the rest is history, now I'm addicted to Asian stuff, especially Korean

i was one a online reading manga site which offered online viewing of a Korean drama so I happened to watch it which was Full House and I really liked it and i looked up Rain Bi and clicked a vid of someone imitating him and it was Xiah Of DBSK, and I got really curious about DBSK and now I'm totally sucked into the KOrean culture

I don't really know. I really liked stuff from Japan and so I'd look up Japanese clothing/dramas. Then I realized that half of the stuff was Korean. And that's how I began to like Korean stuff.

i accidenly bumped into this site where there was loads of korean dramas and i was like ''woah'' so i fell in love with the k-dramas and eventually with the language ^^ and now im totally obsessed with korean stuff (well not THAT obsessed) and when someone says something about korean stuff or culture im like ''omg weee a soulmate!'' xD im weird..

i flipped thru the channels, and it so happens that there was only 1 korean channel...at the time they were doing Music Bank...and listening to the songs and stuff...i grew to like it...going out to the korean stores and buy the cds of the ppl i saw on t.v. who i liked the songs from...thats how i got into the korean wind...but now a days...not that much into it...

Hm... it was one day, my sister was on myspace and we were looking at boxers... or some type of fighters... and there was a cute korean one! <3 and then I went on to manhwa and played a game called SDO which had Korean music :3

My BF introduced me to KBC and Arirang (Korean channels we have on our local cable). After watching a few programs I was hooked .

We dont have KBC or arirang here, but i watched arirang back at mexico and OMIGOSH, i was soooo excited. xD i loved the videos and dramas and news and performances!

My friend in college showed me my first K-drama "Autumn in My Heart" and caught on with Winter Sonata and other K-dramas. I soon began to like the music from the dramas and started looking up for Korean artists. Soon I began listening to FTTS, Clazziquai, BoA, SSK, Big Bang, DBSK and more!

Back when the AZN channel still existed, I stubbled across these two shows called "High Kick" & "Hwang Jini", which are awesome shows, and I was really intrigued by their fashion.

well, i strated reading manga, which lead to my obsession with Asian things, and then started listening to japanese music, made some korean friends ^^ and PUUUF!! you have a Korean stuff addict ^^

its a longgggggggggg story!!!!! but i'll shorten it xP

so when i was still in Indonesia, i always watch a drama since theres always a Korean or Taiwanese drama on one of the channel....n noo theres no sub cuz they actually dub it Indonesian..it is weird but i didnt really care back then.. XD
the first drama i've watched was..At the dolphin bay then after that i watched Meteor garden..THEN THEY'RE FINALLY SHOWING A K-DRAMA!! n it was Full House (my fave kdrama ever!!! )..
n around that time, big bang..n DBSK is really famous..(especially among the middle schooler n at that time my sis was in middle school)..
so one day my sis showed me one of DBSK's song (or was it big bang's song..oh wells i forgot..it was one of them..)..and I instantly fell in love with it..
ahem ahem~~ several years later..i moved here to the US..internet is wayyyy faster than in Indonesia..so i started using it everyday :3
with the power of internet, i found out more Korean songs n stuff..n one day theres this new girl at my school and Korean, we became best friend since we share a lot of the same interest..becuz of her I know a lot moreee about Korean stuff (n i got to eat kimbap everyday since she always bring it to school..but she moved to a diff school..i miss those times xDD)
about a year later I decided to start listening to super junior since i've never heard any of their songs..i instantly fell in love with them.then i found out that they released a new album..i love all the songs so i bought the album..since then, i listen to more Korean songs and now i'm really obsessed with Korean stuff :3

Well I first got interested from seeing what you guys write on this forum. I'm not really mega into Korean stuff, but the fashions are cute and 200 Pounds Beauty is one of my all time favourite movies xP
