I actually prefer to call them dramas, even though I know they're kinda the same thing, haha. I even correct people who ask me "Do you still watch the Korean soap operas?" Just... "soap operas" makes me think of a hazy screen, overacting, constant crying, characters coming back to life, etc... x]
