Shoes (Converse) I painted... Inspired by K-drama Goong/Palace! (imageheavyyy)

My end result is at the end of this post, but these were the steps I followed to show you guys what I was aiming for:





So I actually made these quite some time ago - like last month - but only now have gotten around to posting them. xP They took me FOREVER, ahh... Like, 3-4 hours a day for a week. But I was so happy with the result! Tell me what you guys think... ^^;

I actually have pictures of my progression, so we'll start out with the blank ones.

I used acrylic paints, which are pretty much completely permanent.

For the water drops (and everything else actually) I used stencils that I made myself and cut out with an exacto knife. All the little details like the shading on the water drops and such, I just used a suuuper teeny brush and blended paints when needed.

I got the original tutorial from Soompi here. (Scroll down a bit, first someone posted one that's kinda small but if you keep scrolling, there's another post with a huge one.) The steps I posted above I had taken from the tutorial and just edited on Photoshop so I could print it out and follow it. :]

So what kind of acrylics did you use? And can you just apply that onto shirts as well or does it matter what kind of fabric? (You could make me stuff and I'll buy 'em off you since we live so close.. hahaha. )

I've always wanted to try painting Converse or a t-shirt or something but I don't have the patience. I also can't paint to save my life (damn shaky hands!).
