if you adore knitting, you definitely have to check out Stitch 'n Bitch: The Knitter's Handbook. it has tons o' refreshing patterns...one of which i tried out a few months ago - the Punk Rock Backpack pattern.

too be honest, i don't remember 0_0
it's because i did it in sections and then there were periods where i stopped for a long while. hmm...it's pretty straight forward minus the
intarsia (the heart part in this case). so, i figure if you do some everyday
it would take less than a month. haha sorries - not very good at estimating times for projects

Cute! I've never tried knitting, but I've wanted to knit a scarf and legwarmers. Would you recommend Stitch 'n Bitch: The Knitter's Handbook for beginners just starting knitting, or should some basic knowledge be known on knitting beforehand?
The giraffe is cute too.

yesh. i call it my sexy nameless giraffe =)
the book has everything you need to know to get started as a knitter. although i learned how to knit with the klutz kit - their book has super super easy instructions and diagrams (well so does stitch 'n bitch, but i found the klutz book easier to understand if you just want to learn the basics).

omg! that is really cute. i bought a stich n bitch book a while ago. i always wanted to do intarsia but it looks SUPER hard! how did you learn to do it? i also dont really understand stich n bitch's lingo. i know what k and p mean, but other than that i dont know. i also think that's great you had enough patience for that.

cute bag!! if it was on sale, i'd buy it! the green looks beautiful and the heaartt <3 nice backpacks are so hard to come by.. usually all the cute ones come in messenger form. i def think u should make and sell them! it's gorgeous @_@
