That's really awesome. You're an amazing person for doing something like that. I'm honestly not that creative, I wish I was.. And I'm a little bit lazy. So, yay for you!

April 28th -

I made these for my dad and finally got them from being fired. I must say, glazes aren't my style, so the rest of my work from there on will only be acrylic base or raiku.
April 29th -

I finally got to painting it. Because it is so BUSY, I decided a simplistic color scheme would not overwealm it. So, basic black and white with smooth lines it went

April 29th - Aw I made a ? box as well! How cool is that! You guys can post progress pictures as well. Most of mine today were progress work. I made this candy sweetys box for my mom and I painted it all white for now as a base (I need to buy color).

April 30th - Finally done being fired, this little fat man is going to be a puppet with cloth hands and a wood/cloth body. He is a work in progress...

Aww, I wish I could make a detailed tutorial on how to make it. Pretty much it was just a clay bowl I made with a lid and did some coiling and cutting techniques to make all the shapes. It is also for school and a grade, but I decided to give it to my mom when it's done. (No updates today because I am at my boyfriends house and he doesn't have a scanner. But, I am keeping to my word and will have them all scanned in when I get back to cover the appropriate days.)

I have to ask is your box made out of clay and if so do you own a kiln?
btw I think your box is the coolest ^_^

Yep, it is made out of clay but it isn't my kiln. Actually, it was done for school. One of my projects for a grade or whatever. (Well, sort of.) We were supposed to make a tea pot but that sounded boring to me so I made this instead.
