Creation a Day (Join Today!)
About
The reason for this thread is to make something every single day. That means all girls may participate! Just post if you are interested in being a part of the crew and I will add you to the list. You don't HAVE to make something every day, but it is a lot of fun to make things and get ideas from others for projects. If we get enough participants, we can have a monthly creation theme and see what the girls of AsiaJam can come up with.

Oh wow that's so cool! What did you make it out of? I would love to do a creation a day, only in art. I haven't drawn much in two years which is an absolute disgrace to my training in college. >.> I'd love to force myself take the time to commit to the things I enjoy.

If anyone could think of some fun and easy things for me to do that would be great since I really want to try the creation a day thing.

O_O that looks REALLY cool! I love it! ^_^ You have amazing talent!
I guess by creation...it doesn't necessarily mean cooking isn't an option? you can totally decorate a cake anyway you want, I think that's art enough XD
sewing is great too....drawing? You can even decorate a pictureframe! Make a scrapbook! The possibilities are endless XD

Oh, wow. You are sincerely gifted. How beautiful!
My creative talent lies with food. Well, I have a terrible cold right now so I cheated and made breakfast for dinner last night, which my boyfriend always loves, lol. Let's see, the last fun thing I made was pan-seared sea scallops with pepper and lemon zest, served over sauteed ribbons of butternut and zucchinni squash and cous-cous. Nom nom nom! Oh holy cow, I made these tarts that turned out incredible too! And it was the cutest recipe ever! Each little tart is made inside a cupcake holder, and it has a vanilla wafer cookie on the bottom as the base, then a layer of cream cheese tart filling, topped with a dollop of fresh blueberries! I think my poor boyfriend made himself sick on those.

BonBon: Sure! I love sharing recipes.
Make sure to check out my new thread in the BRAND NEW FOOD SECTION (yay). I started one in which I'll post really simple, yummy recipes for all different occasions. I'll include an ingredient list, step-by-step instructions, as well as serving tips! And feel free to post questions or requests. My entire family is made up of innovative chefs so I have a great wealth of knowledge at my disposal hehe.

Sorry it has taken me so long to post (I blame the school system). Ok, well to start I made it out of clay in my ceramics class. My teachers trying to force me to glaze it but I was like "No way Jose" cause it looks too nice right now and glazes and me don't mix. As an update, I have been working on stuff (Keeping my promise of a creation a day.)
April 19th - Started making another ceramics project, it is a round shaped container with donuts on the top as a handle and little sweets going around it. (I will put up pictures after I fire it)
April 20th -
April 21st - Did touch up work, I am almost done with this thing:

April 22nd - I feel almost burned out so I am gunna switch media. I am gunna do some crochet Amigurumi in a second to kinda relax myself. I am thinking of doing a carrot. That would be kinda cute in a weird way.
Btw, thank you everyone for the compliments ^_^ You guys are the best!

Don't worry guys this isn't a very strict thread. I actually would like to see some cooking creations too. Anything that you MAKE is more than welcome here ya know? For you Strawberry I have GOT to reccommend Crochet. It looks complicated but its actually really easy and you could end up making a lot of the little amigurumi creatures that are in your sig. If you need help with instruction you can send me a pm. Hard stuff at first but the moment you get the hang of it your all set!
April 21+22 -
I started work on the red scarf yesterday and I got to work on the dark blue today. I don't have any more time to work on them today so maybe I will continue on these bad boys tommorow and finish them. Gotta get homework done and clean my fishys tank.

You're really talented! I love all the stuff you made.
I would like to try this creation a day. Not now though. I'm poor and have no money for supplies and stuff

Thanks They are made of perler beads. Those beads you get for little kids that you iron and they stick together. They are like 11 bucks at the store and the large peg board I use, I got online.

I just googled the perlerbeads. They need to be ironed? And you need to use ironing paper? It looks hard to make.
