hahaa do u mean like actually say it right to ur face?? And what u mean dont like him? Like atall? hate him? Or only like him as friend. If me i would be like aww i like u too. Ur such a cool friend >.< Or if i like really dont like him i would be.....ummm good for u......

This happened to me over the summer...I told the guy I didn't like him, I liked another guy...and he then called me a slut for it cuz he was jealous and I haven't talked to him since >.<

Well there was a guy I liked as a friendly acquaintance who said he liked me and I have a boyfriend so I apologised because I fetl bad for him not having who he wanted but I haven't spoken to him since then because I don't want him to take being friendly in the wrong way...
It happened to me before when I was single but just not interested in that way and I just told them I wasn't looking for a relationship.

I've only had this happen once, he was about 25 and was talking about marriage and the whole works!  needless to say, I was slightly scared and told him in the kindest way possible that I'm still young and have many plans for the future (ie. travelling) that don't involve him

as a guy myself, my only advice is to be nice. It takes a lot of courage to approach a girl and tell them that they like her - unless he's been drinking or has been dared by a friend (which i dont think is the case). Don't laugh in his face and dont be arrogant (like, "yea u n the million other guys!").
Im not very good at approaching girls, personally ~they usually approach me (since im quite friendly and playful, girls generally get the wrong idea). I guess its a little easier turning down a girl than a guy as girls dont usually respond with "well ur a fekin' ho anywayz!"
My philosophy is that its better to have someone love you than to have them hate you.  |

Ohhhhhh, man.
I've had this happen before xD;
Just be nice to the guy and tell him you wanna just be friends and nothing more.
If he doesn't take it too well... like gets all mopey and stuff...
then he is a very sad boy. o.o;
But yeah, just tell him how you feel (best thing to do) and hope that things work out well. :]

oh man ! what's with you girls and such mean rejections !
c'mon, we all know that we are sweeter then that ~ That happened to me during the summer, I didn't say like how he's not the material or like how we just can't be together. I just pointed out how I wouldn't want to lose him ever as a friend, because losing a best guy friend compared to a boyfriend, who you can replace easily after a while.
LET HIM DOWN EASILY ! and stay friends !

I mean, maybe if you get to know him more, you can love him/her too.

He's not real, but if someone asks me out and I don't want to go out with them, I just say I have a boyfriend. And if they start asking about him, then I can just go with it because I created a whole character.
Maybe it's a little mean, but they'll never know, and I never talk to them again after that anyway... XD
