Dude, he contacts you everyday, cook you meals eagerly, got you chocolate for V-day, and had indirectly told you that you are above Japanese women.
OF COURSE HE LIKES YOU

Yeah... I don't know... those methods are in a sense embarrassing... the note is brave but embarrassing because you'll never know his reaction. Like countless have said before.... become his friend because you never know, once you get to know him he might not be the guy you want him to be. It happens alot of the time and you'll either be disappointed or gain a friend or possibly more!
But if you're brave enough to contemplate giving him a note... I'm sure you'd be able to go up and talk to him without difficulty!

I personally dont like the idea of a note, i mean if you are gutsy enough to even tell him at all you should tell him face to face. Me? well i refuse to admit my feelings to that person unless I am 100% positive that they like me back. stupid i know ^^;;; but it saves me from a lot of heartache.

Bweahaha, nah, I never gave Jason the note. -shrug-
I'm okay with rejection and stuff. I'm pretty free easy going.

hey its understandable and it sounds like you both follow your mind than your heart? am i right? i'm saying this, cos you remind me of my close friend who's always distancing herself when it comes to guys. bottom line is she's afraid of getting hurt, but i've always said to her, she sometimes needs to take a risk in life. if it means getting hurt, then it'll only make her stronger...but i suppose taking risks in love is more difficult for some people than others ...

yeah I logically analyze everything in my life whether it be my homework to relationships. i break it down in a technical and logical way. lol~ I dont know though, the guy i like right now is the only guy that I feel I possibly could confess to him without being insecure. (first time in my life)

It's a big age gap. As long as this older guy's not expecting you to marry him or something, it doesn't hurt to go out with him as long as he respects you and treats you right and never pressures you for anything

instead of "i like you" in the note, you could find something you both like and write, (or say)
"hey i heard you like (such and such), me too! maybe we can talk about it sometime here is my email!"
you know? i mean that would come off more as, we have stuff in common, we should hang out sometime, instead of "OMG I LUB YOU!" hehehe.
