Stolen dog!!
My friend had recently lost her dog and she's been putting ads everywhere, and even called the SPCA for help! People have seen him all around the city and someone called her today telling her they saw an old man walking the dog. When they confronted the old man HE RAN AWAY!
Can you believe that? She's owned this dog for more than 5 years, and some old man stole it!

Re: Stolen dog!!
That's horrible, why would someone do that? I was wanting to think it could be a misunderstanding but an innocent person wouldn't run =/ I hope they catch him and the dog gets returned to its owner, or if not that the dog is at least safe and reasonably happy.
I hope your friend is okay too, it must be horrible for her.

Re: Stolen dog!!
She's really attached to all of her animals. I don't think she's had a full night rest since her dog went missing. She's doing all she can to track the old man down and get her dog back.
If I found a lost dog, which this dog had it's tags and it said the name and address and number of the owner, I would call immediately or put up posters of the dog i found. I just think it's rude of the old man. And just because he is older, doesn't mean you should take pity on him and just let him keep the dog because he is old, it's theft and the dog should be with it's loving family.

Re: Stolen dog!!
That's so mean! Who'd do such a thing? Well, the old man, obviously, but really? That's evil and wrong.

Re: Stolen dog!!
Yay! I'm glad that she got him back. That was really wrong of the old man. Just because he's old doesn't make it any less of an offence.
How did she get him back? Was he alone or with the old man?

Re: Stolen dog!!
He was alone. I'm guessing after the person saw that man with the dog he let him go? I don't know, or he got lost again.. Hard to say. But I'm glad she has her dog back!

Re: Stolen dog!!
I agree she should get him chipped. She has two dogs, so she should do that for both.
No one ever saw the old man again... He was on the other side of town from her, so it was pretty far... Like a 30 minute drive.

Re: Stolen dog!!
^ Uhh, what? Is that considered spam...?
Anways. I'm soo glad that she got her dog back! A happy ending If I saw someone with my dog, and they ran away, and I found them again, OHHHHH! It is ON! >
This story reminded me of what happened to my Uncle's dog Cookie... he had her for over 13 years, and he left her with his manager while he went on vacation. He came back, and the manager told him Cookie ran away, then changed his story and said his daughter let her out on accident, then lied again and said someone found her dead on the street... People, UGH!
I hope she gets them micro-chipped and never lets them out of her sight! There are crazy people out there...!
