What is UP with Camden street/market/etc. I see awesome clothes on lj fashion groups all the time where people claim to have bought it from there. Is it like a mecca of cheap, alternative, awesome clothes or what?

From what I've heard: DEFINITELY. When my sister was in London, she went all crazy there. I was in London too once and wanted to go there... but then we found Covent Garden in stead

I really like the kimono, I bought it to a japanese girl who had a stand in Notting Hill market and I was a long time choosing the belt because she had a lot of beatiful different printed belts. The problem is that I don't know when to wear the kimono, probably most of people would be staring at me in the train when I go to the college lol

London has lots of markets, but I only visited those two with my boyfriend and we turned crazy. In my first time in London 5 years ago I didn't visited any market. Those wasn't really cheap markets because London is expensive and you usually get confused between euros and pounds...you think you¡re paying in euros or dollars but you're spending more... The kimono was really expensive but I couldn't resist.

Notting Hill was originally the neighborhood where brazilian people used to live, and they have a popular Carnival. Camden Town is full of alternative shops and the camden market; there are a lot of asian style shops too, so I turned crazy again.

Most of things were expensive but some shops like Zara or Primark (spanish shops ) were cheap, but you can buy on Zara or Inditex shops everywhere on Europe.
