Okay, this might be boring for some of you, but I'm so proud to finally own real precious jewelry that I purchased myself

I scrimped and saved for these pieces for the past 2 months so I'm just ecstatic right now. Now to scrimp and save yet again...*sigh*
Went to the jewelry store today and bought:
( 1 ) 18 inch yellow gold necklace chain to use for the pendant that I inherited from my grandmother who passed away a few months back (you can see a close-up of it, it's real purdy

). I actually inherited the pendant with a necklace, both just pieces of cheap costume jewelry that had high sentimental value for me. I'm very acidic so the plating on the chain tarnished very quickly so I decided to get this chain and just hang the pendant on it. I'm still keeping the old one though if for memory's sake. If I had enough money I'd have a copy of the pendant made using real pearls, gold and diamonds...but eeeek! at the cost.
( 1 ) Diamond and white gold cross pendant with 16 inch white gold chain. I've always loved cross jewelry, not because I'm a religious person but because I just really like the way they look plus they remind me of my grandmother. My grandmother, always wore one except it was HUUUUGE and GOOOOLD...I can't do huge. I just wanted small, discreet and classy...this just fit the bill.
( 1 ) Pair of teensy and I do mean teensy diamond and white gold hoop earrings to go with the necklace. I just wanted something I could wear everyday that didn't call too much attention.
Happy, happy, happy, happy! Oh and yes, those are my photos, I just brightened them up using Microsoft Photo Editor because the lighting here sucks as it's evening already.
