What do you want to buy from AsiaJam?
As you know, we always listen to our most beloved Jammers and I would like to start a thread on what you would like to buy from AsiaJam.
Here's the rules:
1. You must really, really want to buy them (because stocks that don't sell will just lose money for us and our margins are small).
2. What new categories of items would you like to see us carry? (Jeans, for instance? Baby clothes? Men clothes?), etc..
3. You can even be very specific like 'I would like to see more strawberry sandals that are of size 9s', or 'I would like to buy something like this picture'... Or, a bit general when discussing what kind of categories of items to buy.
We generally want to gauge the demand of new items before stocking them!
Help AsiaJam grow BIG! We are now a todler, just about to walk! Will we run soon??

AsiaJam carries tons of intensely bright, colorful clothings and shoes (with an abundance of skull prints...). Which is good in some aspect, but it's missing out on sweeter, lighter, "air-y feeling" things.
I'm talking about more pastels, pearls, bows, polka dots, frilly, sugary-goodness! I'm sure you guys are familiar with Candypop's style. But since WE can't get to any of it, how about stocking up on things that resembles it? I'm almost CERTAIN they would be a hot hot hot seller.

How about boyfriend pants denim? ~
Tee hee. In more seriousness, I agree with pinkhaireddreamboy... more larger shirts & especially street style! A lot of the stuff I see is really Gothic Lolita and cute, but I'd like to see something more young, hip and trendy. I remember the Racer 76 Top [I have the top which is why I remember, lol] and really wanted something more "racer" or "stylish" like that.

i always like the shirts with cute sayings on them, and i like pinkhaireddreamboy's idea of long tunics. i also like jumpers such as: and i would like to see more of the "bohemian" style.
and also, what about the idea of carrying lunchboxes?

I would love to see some actual gothic lolita dresses, headdresses, ((Yes, there are two different kinds already! I love them, but regular headdresses, the kind shaped like headbands would be good,)) parasols, gothic lolita purses, blouses ... Maybe even skirts. You know, all the good stuff that BABY, THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT and Metamorphose has ... But not so much pink, more black.
You guys could also try and get in more punk/jRock stuff! Like more chains and safety pins, black tee shirts with rips and interesting sayings on them ...
Another thing could be legwarmers! The really cool kind that're made out of fur or very wild fabrics, and flare out ...
Hmm ... And slouchy/loose socks would be neat! There's only about two other places online where you can buy them, and they're a little expensive.
Ooh, more ideas. How about outfits like school uniforms! Sailor fuku! Those cute pleated skirts and sailor tops, and big bows. ^^
Hmm ... Stuff with spiders or bats on it would be sweet, too ... Or spiderwebs! *^^*
Also, you could get in more dark makeup, like black or blood red eyeshadows, long lasting black nailpolish, maybe some lipsticks ...? Or maybe more unique stuff, like false eyelashes, or false nails! False nails are hard to find online ... Pretty ones and gothy punky ones would both be awesome.
I think that's all the ideas I have for now ... I'll post again if I think of any more!

I'd love to see hoodies with little animal ears similar to what they have here (from YesStyle):
Also hats that have animal ears! Like these:
Hehe... I just think clothes with animal ears are adorable!
And definitely more big fun long bright colorful necklaces! ^^ Like these ones that you guys have (but are sold out ):

This is what I'm wondering about and need your feedbacks..
We used to bring in Gothic Lolita dresses but they moved reeeally slow because I found out Gothic Lolita fans are usually very concern about quality (in terms of thickness of the dresses), and some are also very brand conscious.
If we were to bring in these dresses, they would be made in Hong Kong or China. And, because they are expensive, our selling price would be around $50 - $80. But as you know, this price is considered quite cheap compared to big brands like Baby The Stars Shine Bright, Angelic Pretty etc that cost $200 or more for a dress.
Would you girls still be willing to buy them given this info? Let us know

I think $50 - $80 is a very reasonable price, and I would be very interested in buying them, provided that they weren't like ... Costume qaulity cheap. They'd have to look like a real dress. Thickness is moderately important to me, but so long as they aren't see through or easily ripped, then I'm good. ^^
And if you're too iffy about dresses, you could always try accessories first, and see how that flies ...!
Also, I second Caitlin's suggestion of animal ear hoodies! I would loveeeee a kitty ear hoodie/hoodie dress. =^.^=
I also second kokorocutie's idea of more black with white lace skirts! Soo pretty.
OH! AND DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE BLACK OVERALL DRESS WITH WHITE SKULLS! O__O
((Yes, yes, I know they don't manufacture it anymore. But hey, it's worth a shot ...? xD))

Even though I'm a fan of egl, I dont like the idea of asiajam carrying lolita dresses (lolita inspired dresses is great though!). Many people show interest in it, but I don't think they would sell well at all. It's still expensive and does not have the feel of quality, especially if it's going to come from China. I think for me, if I am going to spend about $80 already, I'd much rather save a bit more to buy somewhere else that specializes in lolita. What's great about AsiaJam is it's affordability.
I am also referring to the one listed online: eBay: GOTHIC LOLITA Dolly Heart Dress EGL Black Cosplay Japan (item 9319449191 end time Apr-05-07 05:30:51 PDT)
It's been there for awhile, or so I've noticed. I guess the best way to find out is to show us possible lolita items and make a poll to see if it's something they'd buy?

I know I would buy! I'm a crazy Lolita lover~ I think that it would go over well and that it would sell. Because not only do I like to buy the great Angelic Pretty clothes but sometimes it's better on a more day-to-day basis to wear less expensive which usually means less elaborate. I am brand conscious but I don't buy only the high-end brands, I buy it ALL: from Angelic Pretty to random sellers on eBay! I think that if cute it will sell not matter brand and price is reasonable. I think that the people that shop AsiaJam are people to buy what they like not matter brand. I never shop by brand alone; just buy what I like.

This might sound weird, but I want some kawaii shower curtains!! I live in an apartment and my bathroom is so dull. It needs some added cuteness. Strawberry shower curtains would be awesome. XD
