    Default Any Sad Asian dramas/movies?

Okay, Im looking for any Asian drama/movie that is sad, maybe a love story. Something to make me cry.
    Any good ones out there?
I love Chinese and Taiwanese movies, but i'm a fan of Korean movies/dramas and Japanese movies/dramas. And Dramas for Chinese and Taiwanese.

I have seen a lot. But Just looking for some more.

    Thanks! :]

    Yeah, ive seen both versions.
Id like to say its the worst movie and drama ever, for making me cry so/to hard!
But, it really is good movie and drama.

I remember I asked for the movie version for christmas, without knowing there was another one.. and I got the t.v. version. I wasn't to happy about it, since I really wanted to see Ryo nishikido. So one night I put the dvd in, and watched it because i couldn't get any sleep.
Best Movie ive EVER seen. It had no love story in it, which was dissapointing, but still was really sad.

haha my little reviewish thing. XD

Other suggestions besides Sad Movie (which is great): The Classic, A Millionaire's First Love, My Love, Windstruck, ...Ing---All these movies are Korean
Japanese: Koizora (The Sky of Love), Heavenly Forest(Tada, Kimi wo Aishiteru)
I've only watched one Taiwanese movie: The Secret (the best)
Prepare your tissues 'cause all these movies are very sad

    I love Korean Movies!

^ ah Secret is one of my all-time fav Taiwanese movie! I second that one and also Heavenly forest, a beautiful movie.

oh and try Il Mare, the lake house movie with sandra bullock and keanu reeves was the re-make of that. but il Mare is definitely better.
Also, Jenny and Juno, its heart-warming and just pulls at my heart.

I wouldn't recommend a millionaire's first love though. the plot was just short-handed. no character development. I couldn't follow the characters through their journey because there were so many gaps and it always left me thinking, did I miss a scene? and because of that I couldn't follow the plot.
very 1 dimensional. I really don't understand why people like that movie so much. it left me confused and lost.

^ I have the same problem with Temptation of Wolves, I don't understand why people liked it so much.
It's all a matter of taste.

Well if you're into anime at all, I recommend Nana. I cried my eyes out in almost every episode, though I cry easily for movies/shows, so. But yeah, it's really good even if you're not an anime watcher, and I'm not saying this just 'cause I'm a fan...
Oh and of course there are the live-action films of Nana that I never remember. x) I haven't seen them myself though.

The Tale of Two Sisters was a good and emotional japanese movie, but it's horror and pretty scary at certain points.

Then there's Suicide Club, which is also horror and pretty disturbing as you can probably make from the name.

One that I've been wanting to see but haven't been able to yet, is April Story. From what I've heard it's very touching.

    Humm~ That's all I can think of now. ^_^
Waiting for the spring to arrive~

Misa (AKA I'm Sorry I Love You) is really sad.

Maundy Thursday had me crying all the way through.

    No Regret is the absolute saddest thing I've ever watched. But it's also one of the most explicit. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are over 18, jaded, masochistic, etc. It was kinda too much for me ;_;
